Feminist Essay Collection
Women from Australia and around the world have volunteered to contribute to an anthology called; The New Feminism Choices. This book is currently in its second stage, with essays and poems being crafted by our writers.
(We hope for the book to be completed in late 2012, our next challenge will be to find a publisher or publishers. This is a project that will be ongoing in 2011 and we welcome any support in terms of publishing industry knowledge or more volunteer essayists).
The Gender Debate
Gender Studies has long been ignored by the Education Board of Australia despite its value in allowing often-marginalised members of the community; including women, gay people and transgendered people, a chance to be heard and understood.
We are creating a Proposal to include Gender Studies in the national syllabus being reviewed by the education board. This proposal will be signed and agreed to by a member of the Teacher's Union. New blog
In 2012 we hope to foster an attitude of positivity and
encouragement for girls and women by creating a
Tumblr blog, specifially designed to state how awesome
females are and spread some joy! Look out for this
new project by mid-year! Thank you to everyone for
